AITA invites submissions in all areas of AI and its applications. Articles must meet the highest quality standards as measured by originality and significance of the contribution.

About the Journal
The Journal of Artificial Intelligence Topics and Applications (AITA) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal that invites submissions on a wide range of AI topics that represent significant advancements in the field. We encourage submissions that explore cutting-edge AI techniques and their applications in real-world scenarios. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to, cognition and AI, automated reasoning and inference, case-based reasoning, commonsense reasoning, computer vision, constraint processing, ethical AI, heuristic search, human interfaces, intelligent robotics, knowledge representation, machine learning, multi-agent systems, natural language processing, AI in Education, planning and action, reasoning under uncertainty, and time series forecasting.
We are particularly interested in papers that not only address foundational theoretical advancements but also demonstrate practical applications of AI in solving complex, real-world problems. Contributions that explore new methodologies, innovative problem-solving approaches, and interdisciplinary applications are highly encouraged. Submissions should reflect the transformative potential of AI across a variety of fields, fostering further innovation and collaboration.
Publication Frequency:
AITA publishes two issues per year on a biannual basis. Accepted papers are published immediately upon acceptance.
Open Access Statement:
AITA is an open-access journal, meaning all articles published are freely available to the public, ensuring that research is accessible to a global audience. This promotes greater visibility, dissemination, and impact of high-quality AI research.
Special Offer: Publication fees are waived for all articles accepted for publication until August 31, 2025.
Current Issue
The journal of Artificial Intelligence Topics and Applications (AITA) welcomes papers on broad aspects of AI that constitute advances in the overall field including, but not limited to, cognition and AI, automated reasoning and inference, case-based reasoning, commonsense reasoning, computer vision, constraint processing, ethical AI, heuristic search, human interfaces, intelligent robotics, knowledge representation, machine learning, multi-agent systems, natural language processing, planning and action, and reasoning under uncertainty. The journal reports results achieved in addition to proposals for new ways of looking at AI problems, both of which must include demonstrations of value and effectiveness.
Papers describing applications of AI are also welcome, but the focus should be on how new and novel AI methods advance performance in application areas, rather than a presentation of yet another application of conventional AI methods. Papers on applications should describe a principled solution, emphasize its novelty, and present an in-depth evaluation of the AI techniques being exploited.
